FAQs

Multiple financial crises at Yes Bank have led to its share prices falling from an all-time high of Rs 400 to around Rs 10 in March 2020.
This financial crisis in Yes Bank was caused by bad loans (NPAs) that were given to business houses that were not performing well, like Anil Ambani Group, DHFL, Cox & Kings, Vodafone Idea, Subhash Chandra's Essel Group, Jet Airways, McLeod Russell, Omkar Realtors, Radius Developers, CG Power, etc.
After this, to bail out Yes Bank from this crisis, in March 2020, a consortium of banks led by SBI invested capital and took a stake in Yes Bank so that it could be saved from collapsing at a share price of Rs 10 per share.
